TRAFFIC NOTICE FOR THURSDAY AND FRIDAY:

The wake and funeral for State Trooper Kenneth C. Hall is expected to draw large crowds and affect traffic on Interstate 91 on Thursday and Friday of this week. The wake will be held in Windsor on Thursday, from 1 to 8 p.m., at the Carmon Community Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., off exit 37 in Windsor.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at the William A. O'Neill State Armory, 360 Broad St. in Hartford. The funeral procession will be leaving from Windsor that morning.

From Bradley International Airport:
From Bradley International Airport, follow exit signs to I-91 south. Take exit 36 off I-91 south. Take a left onto Park Avenue (Route 178 east). Proceed to the end of 178 and take a left onto Route 159 north (Windsor Avenue). At the traffic light, make a right onto Batchelder Road and follow signs. 

From New York City and points south (approximately 2.5 hours from New York City to Loomis Chaffee) :
Take exit 36 off I-91 north. Take a right onto Park Avenue (Route 178 east). Proceed to the end of 178 and take a left onto Route 159 north (Windsor Avenue). At the traffic light, make a right onto Batchelder Road and follow sign. 

From Providence (approximately 1.5 hours to Loomis Chaffee):
Take Route 6 to Route 295 north to Route 6 west to Route 395 south to Route 2 west. Then take I-91 north to exit 36. Take a right onto Park Avenue (Route 178 east). Proceed to the end of 178 and take a left onto Route 159 north (Windsor Avenue). At the traffic light, make a right onto Batchelder Road and follow signs to the Office of Admission.
